Gradutaion-An Achievement OR A Waste of Time?

Just couple of days ago one of my friend finished her Graduation. She's completed her Gradiuation on Business from a well-recognised University. Whenever we met she shares her worries about not finding a good job, the lack of it & the overall recession scares her.She has her degree on Business; still she is worried about the job market! There is something fundamentally wrong about the whole thing –right?

I know some Graduates who failed to find a good job for a year & still searching!

That's a clear-cut indicator that having a Degree on any given subject can not ensure a JOB. And even though one manages to get a Job—what's the guarantee that the Job will be always there….? ZERO!

{If you are studying Engineering or Medicine—go ahead and do that. I am talking about all other subjects that have little implication in the real world}

What about studying Business in University? Well---the text book theory often time outdated, especially in today's Business world where technology is reforming the way Business functions. If the University theory would work---all of the University teachers should be Millionaires! BUT that's not what we see, is that?

The Education System does one thing very well though; it trains its students to think like an Employee, it teaches how to be a better Worker to work for somebody else. While it destroys one's Creative & Entrepreneurial Spirits (in most cases).

My Newly Graduate friend was once telling me…there is not much better to happen. She'll keep on working…may be a Big Opportunity will knock on someday….& things will change!?! A long wishful dis-empowering thinking...! The strange thing is –that's not only her…there are so many people do the same mistake. They wish for an Opportunity to come….days go by….the Opportunity never comes and then they are in the boat of Life floating without direction.

If you are NOT the kind of person who wishes for things to happen instead you want to have control over your life –you should consider having your own Business.
